How it works

  1. 1Drop the .ora on the panel above, or press Choose a .ora.
  2. 2Hide what you don’t want. The eye on each layer turns it off; hidden layers stay out of the PNG.
  3. 3Press PNG for one flattened image with transparency kept, or Layers as PNGs for a zip with one file per layer, numbered top to bottom.

Questions

Is the PNG the same as the one already inside the .ora?

Not quite. Every .ora carries a flattened mergedimage.png as saved by the last app. The PNG button re-composites from the layers as you see them now, so hidden layers and blend modes are respected. Pick mergedimage.png in the view toggle to see the stored one.

What resolution do I get?

The canvas size written in the file, pixel for pixel. Nothing is scaled.

Can I go the other way, PNG to .ora?

Yes — open the PNG in the editor, add your layers, and use Export as .ora.
